Job Responsibity/Role:
-The scope of work for all Contractors is clear and precise.
- The most cost effective techniques and equipment are utilised.
-HSSE objectives are clear and form the basis upon which operations will be conducted.
-Co-ordinates and controls an efficient, safe and economical execution of exploration drilling operations for a number of offshore and onshore rigs in accordance with approved programmes.
-Co-ordinates and manages the company’s personnel and contractors under his supervision.
-Ensures that the programme and reporting meets all relevant standards and legal requirements.
-Varies changes or re-schedules the operations outlined in the well programme, when required, in order to achieve the well objectives.
-Ensures the quality and completeness of data from the well site.
-Ensures compliance with all government regulations and environmental certification.
-Knowledge, experience and demonstrated proficiency in all of the activities described above.
