John Snow Inc Job Vacancy 2015: Project accountant needed

John Snow Inc is based in the united state of America and happens to be a public health consulting firm and manages two (2) projects/contracts through its integrated office in Abuja, Nigeria. Through the Partnership for Supply Chain Management consortium, JSI implements the Supply Chain Management System (SCMS) project for the US Government as part of the United States President's Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief (PEPFAR). The purpose is to establish and operate a safe, secure, reliable and sustainable supply chain management system to procure pharmaceuticals and other products needed for the care and treatment of persons with HIV/AIDS and related infections. 

JSI is recruiting to fill the below position:

Job Title: Project Accountant

Job Location: Nigeria

Job Description
The Project Accountant will works under the guidance of the Associate Director Finance and Administration and overall supervision of the Director of Finance and Administration. Specific responsibilities will include, but not limited to, the following:

1   .Manage the JSI field accounts system, review chart of accounts, generate Quickbook reports as needed for project reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
2.  Regularly update QuickBooks, prepare bank account reconciliation and resolve account variances in compliance with all US Government (USG)and JSI
