Adexen Recruitment Agency is mandated by a leading international Engineering Group, which provides integrating solutions & technological services for oil & gas companies. The Group is looking for a Support Engineer for its offshore operations.
Job description
Ideal candidates will be responsible for the support of offshore operations, checks & ensures that vital equipment on production sites is available as and when required, facilitate maintenance activities of the SITE team through adequate preparation (spare parts verification etc), check repairs requirement & quality, and Short / medium term improvement.
Job Responsibilities
- Review preventive maintenance program validity. check availability of means to complete it as and when required.
- Assist on the SITE as required for corrective maintenance
- Prepare work pack for specific maintenance jobs when requested
- Analyse CMMS report for its field of competence and recommend improvement solutions to company as required
- Set up and implement technical procedures, follow-up and update maintenance procedure in relation with COMPANY representatives
- Ensures quality of the maintenance operations : preparation of intervention files, work orders, reporting, CMMS
- Qualifications and experience
- A B.Sc degree (2:1) or (HND compulsorily with a Masters degree) in mechanical, Electrical or Instrumentation Engineering to secure this job in nigeria
- Similar experience in the maintenance field on oil & gas production installations outside the shores of Nigeria
- Minimum of 5 years experience in general industrial maintenance
- Computer literacy is required to be considered for this job in nigeria.
- Ability to work offshore under the climatic conditions of the site,
- Ability to work in a multinational team. Ability to work in a service relationship.
- Competence/experience in the relevant specialities (mechanical/fitting, handling, tooling, electricity, instruments)
- Experience in CMMS
- A basic knowledge of oil & gas treatment, installation & in depth knowledge of equipment used in the treatment and installation
- SAP/R3 experience and know-how
- Ability to lead and motivate multi-national teams,
- Good organizational skills
- Eloquent in the English language (also written)
