WTS Energy Nigeria Job vacancy : Base support Engineers needed

They are in search of exceptional professionals to fill the following vacancies in Nigeria:

Job Title: Base Support Engineer (Ref: WTS/GA/004)

Job Responsibilities
Specifically, the successful candidate will:
  • Pressure test, maintain and operate RCD- MPD equipment in a safe manner as per standard operating procedures.
  • His/her job is to ensure that all preparations have taken place, equipment is fit for use and all pre-installation checks and testing have been carried out.
  • Ensure all required onsite spares and inventory are in place, record the use of consumables utilized during operations, ensuring that relevant records are forwarded to operations base, allowing suitable time to ship replacement items.
  • Ensure that copies of all documentation and certification are available on location and are relative to equipment.
  • Communicate RCD procedures to both company engineers and rig crew.
  • Work with and supervise the on-site rig crew, to ensure correct equipment handling during rig up and rig down of RCD equipment.
  • Maintain appropriate contact with client customer representative at the well site.
  • Train rig crew on RCD operations requiring their assistance.
  • Ensure equipment in the field is well maintained and compliant with relevant standards.
  • Ensure that operations are completed to the full satisfaction of the client.
  • Produce all required, RA, PTW, Reports, Handover notes of all RCD-MPD well site activities.
  • Record end of well data on WPTS job tracking database.
  • Train junior RCD-MPD personnel.
  • Work in shop preparing, servicing and testing equipment as required.
  • Ensure that all documentation required for operational activities (Passports, work permits, Offshore survival, H2S, medical certificates and appropriate immunization documents, etc) are up to date and maintained.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and attitude.
  • Any other delegated responsibilities as instructed by the product line supervisor within the timeframe specified in a safe and efficient manner to meet business requirements. Provided the instructions are reasonable and you are capable and deemed competent to fulfill these.
 Job  Qualification, Experience and Attributes.
  • Possess at least 5 years relevant experience in RCD MPD operations and pressurized mud cap drilling operations.
  • Have 5 Years oilfield experience as Driller or significant applicable experience gained within the oil and gas sector to be considered for this job in nigeria.
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude and Pneumatics experience in order to secure this job in nigeria.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering in order to be considered for this job in nigeria.
