Job Title: Project Engineer/Engineering Manager
Job Summary:
The Project Engineer/Engineering Manager will coordinate and manage the plant process and system and maintain the manufacturing activities to influence the implementation of world class manufacturing, identifying, co-operating and actively participating in strategic improvement initiatives.
Job Duties and responsibilities
- Amongst other duties, the Project Engineer/Engineering Manager will;
- Manage plant process and systems
- Manage productivity
- Ensure compliance to Good Engineering standards and Best Practices
- Coordinate/manage the overall Plant Maintenance Budget
- Develop/implement on larger CAPIN/CAPEX
- Optimize energetic spares stock holding
- Scope and define projects
- Manage acceptance tests and handover processes
- Manage contractor
- Evaluate suppliers and define costs
- Lead project team
Qualifications and skills required
The occupant of this position should possess;
- B.SC in Mechanical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering in order to qualify for this job at International breweries Plc, Ilesa, Osun
- Deep prior experience in a senior maintenance management role
- In-depth understanding of world class manufacturing, asset care & CMMS
Key competencies and attributes:
- High financial and systems numeracy

- Influencing skills
- Good understanding of the principles and practices of manufacturing excellence
- Good understanding of brewing, packaging and utilities process and technology
- At least 5 years project management experience in the beverage industry.
