Oduduwa University was licensed by Federal Government of Nigeria to operate as a private University on 3rd November, 2009 (certificate number: 38). The University was named after the progenitor of the Yoruba race (Oduduwa).
Oduduwa University is located at Ipetumodu, a town in Ife North Local Government Area of Osun State. It is just 6 kilometres away from Ile Ife. Oduduwa University which occupies about 100 hectares of land, is stategically located on Ife - Ibadan express road, and it can be accessed from al the nearby States of Oyo, Ekiti, Ogun, Ondo, Edo and Lagos.
