The Kwara State school of Health Technology, Offa, was Established by the Kwara State Government in 1976. In accordance with the directive of the school, the main objectives of the school is to:

    Train students of different cadres in Health profession;
    Retrain and re-orient the existing Health personnel;
    Carry out research in different fields of health care;

Function of the Provost
 Provost is the Executive, Academic and Accounting Officer of the College.
 Responsible for execution of the policy of the Council and
    Shall run the day to day administration of the College.

Qualification and requirements
 Should be a holder of University degree or its equivalent in Health Sciences and must have background in Academic preferable a Chief Lecturer or its equivalent.
    Should not be less than 46 years of age and not more than 55 years of age.
    Retired or any officer having less than six years (6) in service Federal, State or Higher Institution of learning is not qualify to apply.
    Should be a person of probity and integrity.
    Be someone who appreciate respect and promote merit without fear or favour while under pressure.
    Have clear vision for the development and growth of the institution
