Job description
The Geologist will be responsible for the supervising geotechnical and geo-environmental analysis, design, and construction engineering services
Responsibilities
» Observation and investigation of the geology in engineering projects
» Engineering geological model development
» Establishing standards and scope for the engineering geological activities
» Engineering geological information management
» Communicating the geology to engineers
» Provide project management for geotechnical and geo-environmental projects including the preparation of scope, schedules and budgets.
» Contribute to business development and proposal efforts and prepare technical reports.
Qualifications and experience
» A B.Sc degree or (HND compulsorily with a Masters degree) in Geology.
» Minimum of 5 years work experience in Geological Engineering to be relevant for this jobs in nigeria.
» Good Knowledge on the use of GIS (Geographic Information Systems).
» Ability to work without supervision to be considered for this job in nigeria
» Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
» Must possess demonstrable and measurable success in a similar role
» Must possess all other skills required in this profession
