Dangote Graduate Engineers Trainee Programme 2011

Dangote Cement Plc is a fully integrated cement company and has projects and operations in Nigeria, Benin and Ghana; with total existing production and import capacity of 14 million tonnes per annum and new production projects in development with 11.1 million tonnes per annum additional capacity. The Company operates the Obajana Cement Plant (OCP), the largest cement plant in sub-Saharan Africa. Aggressive growth plans target a strong pan-African presence as Dangote Cement evolves to become a truly multi-national corporation.

Dangote Graduate Engineers Trainee Programme

Dangote Cement Plc is inviting applications from Graduate Engineering Trainees who hold first class or distinction in their BSc or MSc programmes in the following disciplines:


  1. Mechanical Engineering
  2. Chemical Engineering
  3. Electrical Engineering
  4. Electronic/Instrumentation Engineering
  5. Mining Engineering
The Programme
  • The selected candidates would go through 18 months intensive training programme, to hone their skills in their respective discipline.
  • The ideal candidates will be fresh graduates or those with less than 3 years experience.
  • The training programme will equip the candidates with the special skills in their respective discipline, to enable them to take up challenges by starting on a higher level.
  • The selection process would be through tests, group discussions and interviews.
