Vashti Nigeria Limited is seeking for a hard working individual to fill the position of a health and safety officer. The safety officer will drive and monitor the implementation of Health & Safety program strategy and enablers within the facility. The candidate drives knowledge sharing and ensures consistency of implementation of safety policies and standards as well as supporting critical Health & Safety activities.

 Responsibilities and Duties: 
• investigating/recording incidents, accidents, complaints and cases of ill health • undertaking risk assessments and site inspections 
• ensuring that equipment is installed correctly/safely 
• identifying potential hazards 
• determining ways of reducing risks 
• writing internal health and safety policies/strategies


 •Job   Requirement: • A good degree from a reputable Nigerian university • 1-3 years working experience in a related field • Safety certification is an added advantage.
